EAP
An Employee Assistance Program or EAP is short-term, solution focused counselling for employees and their immediate family. EAP is an employer funded initiative that aims to provide confidential assistance to workers and can have a positive impact on the workplace including reduction in turnover costs, less absenteeism, less disciplinary action, less accidents, less grievance amongst staff and fewer workers’ compensation claims.
Critical Incident Response
In the event of a critical incident (e.g. fire, assault, loss of life or serious injury), Linc Consulting is able to respond by providing onsite support services in accordance to best practice guidelines. Employers’ duty of care to maintain the wellbeing of their staff by providing such services can increase morale, convey the employer’s concern and care and ensure group cohesion. Services may be delivered in various formats including information sessions, group debriefing or one-on-one counselling.
Workplace Mediation
Mediation is a structured, co-operative problem-solving process, designed to help the parties to a dispute find constructive solutions to problems. The process is facilitated by a mediator who assists the parties to develop options, consider alternatives and reach a consensual agreement that benefits all parties. Ongoing monitoring mechanisms are also developed to encourage a sustainable and more cohesive work environment.
